The 2011 Movie Soundtrack: The Best Songs From This Year’s Films

At least Pharrell and Hans Zimmer will be handling scoring duties.

Selected by Marko Orlic

Just in time to celebrate what will probably be one of the poorest Oscar showings yet, which, by the way, won’t even feature a single musical performance, I’ve compiled a soundtrack of my favourite songs from the films of 2011.  I hope you enjoy them, and use them to drown out the sounds of The Artist and The Help inexplicably winning every award tonight.
